Chinese Beauty Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Polo Horse

Painted in classical brushwork, this wall scroll brings a classical Chinese beauty into the room with real presence. Generations of painters returned to the Chinese beauty, and this scroll shows the tradition in good health. The painter didn't skimp on detail — horse and polo all get their moment.

Classical handling shows in every stroke — ink and pale washes in the literati manner. In Chinese painting, beauties in classical painting embody grace, talent and quiet virtue. Morning light and lamplight each find something different in it. The tall format is no accident — the composition is built to be read downward. Collectors often hang pieces like this where they can catch the morning light.

A Chinese beauty silk wall art like this brings a settled, scholarly feeling to any room. Collectors of Chinese beauty silk wall art will find this one easy to live with. It is a fine example of horse and polo Chinese painting, the kind of piece that grows on you.
