Chinese Painting Scroll – Silk Wall Art – Banana Tree Rose

This Chinese scroll painting gathers water buffalo, banana tree and rose into one classical composition, painted the old way on silk. The balance of empty silk and painted form is exactly what the old masters aimed for. From a distance it's one image; up close it's water buffalo, banana tree and rose, each worth a look on its own.

As a chinese painting scroll silk wall art, it sits comfortably alongside much older pieces without feeling like a copy. People who collect this genre will read the meaning at once — the water buffalo is diligence in the fields, honest work rewarded. Restraint is everywhere; nothing is pushed too far. Water buffalo gives exactly as much as needed, and no more. No frame required; the classic silk mounting is the finished presentation.

Place it where life slows down: near the books, above the tea things, or over a low console. All it needs is wall space and reasonable light — it handles the atmosphere by itself. It is a fine example of water buffalo and banana tree Chinese painting, the kind of piece that grows on you.
