Qi Baishi Chinese Painting Print – God Of Longevity Shouxing

An old subject, God Of Longevity Shouxing, given the full Qi Baishi treatment. The listing covers the huaxin print alone — the reproduced core, without frame, scroll, or backing.

From Shouxing to God of Longevity to peach, the eye has a clear path through the image — exactly what this kind of Chinese home decor print should be. Immortals drift through these scenes the way weather does — naturally. Peaches of longevity — the fruit the immortals eat. Qi Baishi painted flowers, shrimp, and insects with a farmer’s directness — this sheet has that same unpretentious energy. The visual weight sits exactly where it should; nothing tips or sags, the kind of unmounted Chinese painting print worth framing well. The brushwork varies from hairline to broad wash, often within a single passage.

Hang it opposite the window so the light finds it in the afternoon — a fine Asian wall decor. Give it a wide mat and a thin frame — restraint suits it.
