Wan Xi Chinese Painting Print – Wansui Tongtian Tie Calligraphy

This print puts Wan Xi’s Wansui Tongtian Tie Calligraphy front and center, with all the brushwork intact — exactly what this kind of Chinese calligraphy wall art should be. What you’re buying is the printed huaxin itself: the painting-core sheet, unmounted and unframed.

Calligraphy, Wansui Tongtian Tie, handscroll: the classic trio, handled with restraint — a Chinese brush painting print with real substance. Columns of calligraphy share the sheet with the image, as on the original, the kind of traditional Chinese painting reproduction worth framing well. This is a format for looking the way you read — progressively, patiently. Painted in the manner of the old masters, it asks to be judged on its own merits. The sheet feels considered down to the last corner; nothing was phoned in.

Gift it to the calligraphy student — they’ll study it for years — a fine unmounted Chinese painting print. Gift it to the calligraphy student — they’ll study it for years.
